My Story

I am a mental health counsellor working with anxiety during major life transitions, through online counselling. My work is particularly focused on women navigating prenatal and postpartum adjustment, early career stages and career changes, and expat or bicultural life.

I work from the understanding that anxiety often emerges not because a person is failing, but because their internal and external worlds are changing faster than their nervous system can integrate.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and nervous system regulation. I place strong emphasis on clarity, emotional safety, and helping clients develop a compassionate understanding of their internal experience.

I am particularly attentive to the invisible pressures many women carry — responsibility, identity shifts, cultural expectations, and the demand to function well while feeling internally unsettled.

I aim to offer a calm, contained therapeutic space where anxiety can be understood rather than feared, and where change can be navigated with greater stability and self-trust

Who I work with

I work primarily with women, while also supporting individuals who experience anxiety during major life transitions.

Many of the people I work with:

  • Feel persistently anxious or overwhelmed during periods of change

  • Are navigating identity shifts, responsibility, or uncertainty

  • Are adjusting to parenthood, career demands, or life in a new country

  • Appear high-functioning externally while feeling internally unsettled

I have extensive experience working in private practice, offering in-person therapy, as well as collaborating with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) organizations in Ireland and the UK. This background equips me to address workplace stress and anxiety, providing holistic support in both individual and professional contexts.

How I work

My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and grounded in nervous system regulation. I focus on helping clients understand why anxiety is present and how to respond to it without self-blame or avoidance.

This work may include:

  • Psychoeducation about anxiety and life transitions

  • Emotional regulation and grounding strategies

  • Exploring identity shifts and internal pressure

  • Building psychological safety during periods of uncertainty

My approach combines evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, alongside self-reflection and self-discovery through talk therapy. This blend allows me to tailor support to each client’s unique needs during times of change. I offer a contained, thoughtful therapeutic space rather than quick fixes or surface-level coping strategies.
